The post that was quoted here has been removedI've not commented on ideology. However, there's no denying that twitter algorithms are biased and have worsened. They seem to be getting worse at filtering comments that are actually relevant to posts. It is a less entertaining product. This is why they lost 10% of their users this year, not ideology.
Also, I have never been to bluesky before but it seems like there are more users who post and more engagement. Even with only 10% of tweeters user base.
@wildgrass saidNot so new.
Oh, you're new here.
I still don't think you read my OP of the thread you're posting in. If you did, you'd know I'm not announcing that I'm leaving anything.
If you really didn't care about the subject, you would choose not to comment.
People wanna say it's politics, but the loss of 30 million users is more than that.
Its user functionality is terrible now. Algorithms are a mess. BOTS are ubiquitous. There are too many ads.
My guess is that Twitter will continue to bleed users unless there is a change in management. It will slowly continue to lose mainstream relevance, but maintain a niche as a right-wing-only platform.
@wildgrass saidTwitter is the company Musk bought. It was one of the better ones for its time.

X is the company created by Musk by ruining Twitter. It's just a joke now.
@Great-Big-Stees saidExcept websites (I'm looking at you, THEHILL.COM) want the incendiary, partisan "letters to the editor" (AKA "Opinion" page) that "showcase" the kissing of Trump's ass.
Seems no matter the “platform/app” most are infiltrated by some, not so nice folks. I say we all go back to letter writing, ya know, like letters to the editor or pen pals or even letter writing correspondent chess. 😲Ooooops sorry Chris, just kidding re the latter.🫢
-Removed-First off, It is Bluesky (one word). Blusky is a "restoration contractor". I bet they're pissed that now there's a social media site named Bluesky, so they get people on their site wanting to know how to leave messages.
But thousands of people have left X because of Musk's censorship, so the Bluesky site is mostly these new liberal users. Something to keep in mind if you're gonna go over there and spout conservative themes.
Yeah, I probably won't go over there either. I'd end up shouting down the pussy liberals who think the election was somehow their fault.
