This line out of an old TV cartoon exemplifies today's political climate.

It's natural to blame President Biden for everything from high gas prices to when the bird dropped his little deposit on your shoulder last Saturday. So, go ahead - vote Biden and the Libs out of office and bring back the GOP to "reclaim America" (or whatever slogan they use this time around) You'll find the situation will not have changed much except for a few more tax loopholes for the 1% and a more toxic environment. After a few years the swing voters will tire of this, and the Dem's will come back to power, hopefully with a younger candidate.

and the wheel in the sky keeps on turning...

It's the new "Thanks, Obama!"

Versions of this can be found everywhere in politics but I guess it seems different this time. Not just the former president but the whole electorate is completely detached from reality.

Nah, the Dems clearly want a more fair America. I mean, who else could pull stuff off so that people who work and save for 45 years are equally poor as the people who don't do squat?

Ingenious, those Dems are!

Also, it's only when the Republicans are in power that it's okay to blame the Prez for everything. You all should know that!

(Lower corp tax equals lower unemployment, leading to more taxpayers, leading to less tax demand on each worker...That's where the real Dems get hung up..."Ya mean we got to WORK!"😉

HA HA HA HA HA

Shut up, stupid. I've said many times I'm not a Trump fan, but that is way more than your intellect (or, lack thereof) can fathom.

Lily.

By the way, if you call what is happening in America today a "win", then you're even dumber than I thought. And believe me...that is DUMB.

I think, deep down, you love him, Jim Boy. I bet you got a poster on the wall of him! You only pose as a lib to make everyone hate libs!

I will allow, however, that if I could get my hands on you, you'd have a whole new meaning of temper.

Classic. Just ignore the fact that biden currently is blamed for innumerable things outside his control and mention that, instead, republicans get treated like this without realizing that this is the whole point of the thread.

Whooooooosh.

Well, of course. Didn't we have a year of blaming Trump for COVID? I think @Sonhouse started a thread every other day lol.

Basically, what you outlined is likely the scenario that will transpire.

@mchill

I couldn't care less about the USA but to be fair didn't the whole world hear the Democrats blaming Trump for everything which continues to this day?

Idolizing a politician, Biden or Trump, is like the guy who actually believes the stripper likes him.
I stole that joke from twitter.

@Earl-of-Trumps

Nothing stopped COVID from running its course all over the world.
The reason the USA was hit so hard is because the USA is very unhealthy and fat. Blaming a politician is a waste of time because COVID was going to move around regardless of the restrictions.
