Government officials conspired to keep reinforcements from the Capitol Police so it would look worse than it was. You act as if the protesters all had guns. You can hardly call a bunch of unarmed protesters an insurrection. All they were doing was trespassing. Few of them resorted to violence, yet they were convicted of felonies anyway.
