This is scary. I wonder how many young kids are being brainwashed like this. I mean, praying to cardboard cut-outs of George Bush! Just sort of reaffirms my belief that the powerful Christian lobby group has a hidden agenda with the US Gov and it’s actions in the Middle East.

“At one point Pastor Fischer equates the preparation she is giving children with the training of terrorists in the Middle East. "I want to see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam," she tells the camera. "I want to see them radically laying down their lives for the gospel, as they are over in Pakistan and Israel and Palestine."”

Is this something we should be worried about? Are the youth of tomorrow going to be brainwashed into laying down their lives for Jesus?

Choice.

"Tory, aged 10, tells the camera why she likes "Christian, heavy metal rock and roll", rather than Britney Spears. "When I dance", she says, as she cavorts around her bedroom, "I have to make sure that that's God. People will notice when I'm just dancing for the flesh.""

"One member of the audience there said after seeing it: "The people in the film were so bizarre, yet they were so sincere, they were like Leslie Neilsen in Airplane." "

"the Rev Haggard said the film was too literal in its presentation of some of the opinions of Pastor Fischer. "My concern is ... that those on the far left will use it to reinforce their most negative stereotypes of Christian believers," he told Christianity Today. The "war talk", he said, was allegorical. "It doesn't mean we're going to establish a theocracy and force people to obey what they think is God's law.""

Funnily, I was about to quote the same part, Bosse

The Rev Haggard said the film was too literal in its presentation of some of the opinions of Pastor Fischer. "My concern is ... that those on the far left will use it to reinforce their most negative stereotypes of Christian believers," he told Christianity Today. The "war talk", he said, was allegorical. "It doesn't mean we're going to establish a theocracy and force people to obey what they think is God's law."

Because I was raised a pentecostal Christian, I understand a lot of the jargon and things there. I am afraid there are a lot of extremists in there, but harmless at the most. At least in the environment I grew in.

I think the documentary portrays the parts that boost the box-office.

I would be scared.

Edit 1. Have you given your life to Jesus?

Edit 2. I can share the gospel to you, my friend, via PM's 😉

So would I.

1. No.
2. Why hide your lamp behind a bush? Proselytise in public (wrapped in an Israeli flag if need be).

1. Why? Don't you know the day is coming?

2. Those were the instructions of Pastor Fischer after the documentary.
Can you remove me from your ignore list, please, so I can talk you into the truth?

Bosse.

Come back.

Don't be afraid. You will not become popular with your friends,
but that's a low price for eternal life.

Come on.

I think the most disturbing thing about the whole article is that it made me realize people actually like Christian rock music. What has the world come to?

People were listening to that stuff in the 80s. Little did I realize the creeping menace it implied.

I like her turn of phrase: dancing for the flesh.

Hardly...why would kids today be fired up for Jezus when they've got X-Box and can worship at the altar of Mammon? Moreover, the liberal social engineers have so infected the public school system over here that they won't even let boys stand up when they take a whiz!
