Jews number about half of that.
People will claim that numbers have nothing to do with oppression and colonization. When a handful of British or Europeans landed in Africa they were vastly outnumbered, yet they were able to colonize the region.

Colonizers, because although they were always present in Palestine in small numbers, they started really moving in only in the last 100 years, negotiated and got their way with the British, and developed the land, basically ignoring the indigenous population. I think that is the definition of colonization.
Oppressors, yes, because there is no other way to co-exist with Islam. Failure to keep Islam on a short leash leads to disaster, something many countries found out too late. Many European countries, will be seeking advice from Israel in about 20 years if so much.
Overall, I say kudos to the Jews.
