Jimmy Carter is an innovator. He is the first former American president to cause public and embarrassing trouble for multiple successors, regardless of party affiliation. His ham-fisted attempts at diplomacy in Somalia, Haiti and North Korea irritated Bill Clinton. He insulte ...[text shortened]... of commission and omission which can also be used as a how-to textbook on plagiarism.

Jimmy Carter was not a very good President. Despite his good intentions, he was a failure at international affairs. This is because his vision of how countries should govern, while admirable, was not very realistic. Carters inability to work with Congress also spelled trouble for him on the domestic front, and hindered Americas economic sutuation. Jimmy Carter was, and is, a good and decent man, But he was a naive and ineffective President.😏

Well, I'll agree with you here:

- His domestic policy was a failure

- His foreign policy was a failure

- He was an ineffective President.

But I have to disagree with the assertion that he is a good a decent man.

Not a bad idea... though I'm not sure what brains he has left to beat in.

Alternatively, I'd accept a promise from him that he'll keep his mouth shut up from now on.

How in God's name you could label him as indecent is beyond any rationale thought.

I can't imagine how he angered you so but, as I believe you to be an intelligent man, you need to do some soul searching and get over it.

Carter is critical of Israel and is not a Zionist.
