@shavixmir saidThat "scenario" is still in progress. It will play out sometime after the election.
Well, that wishful scenario has aged well…
Meanwhile... the REAL "existential threat" to democracy was on full display yesterday.
Was anyone truly surprised that inflammatory rhetoric coming from the left could lead to (encourage) an attempted assassination?
@Cliff-Mashburn saidMy first thought was, is this for real? It looks and sounds like it belongs in a Monty Python sketch.
WOW.
It should be the Imperial March from Star Wars, the one they play whenever Darth Vader walks into a room.
@Kilroy70 saidSurprised is the wrong word. I wasn't surprised that the right would blame it on the left, it's what they always do.

You know that thing they do, where they put one on top of the other to make it seem as though there is only one? That's what it's like. And it's not just a metaphor, you can see it all around you. It's everywhere. It was there yesterday, it's here today and will be here tomorrow. And even if it's unrecognizable, if you don't look directly at it you can almost sense it's presence... that's how you know it's there where it is.
