Having said all that, you still find it too painful admitting he championed Civil Rights.

    Very telling.
    I do?

Joe Biden clearly belongs to the past.

Whodey apparently yearns for the racist, sexist, homophobic USA of the 1950s, if not earlier.

In China, old people are traditionally valued much more than they would be in the USA.
But would that stop Whodey from loathing or demonizing the Chinese and their culture?
That reminds me, what is the price of tea in China again?

This is what it is like talking to you.

Tobias9122 hastens to defend another hateful right-wing American troll.

In reality, Whodey's record and reputation as an extreme racist, sexist, homophobe
and pathological liar was already well-established in this forum years before
    Tobias9122 began spewing his nonsense.

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/jun/23/joe-biden-washington-democrats-chummy-politics

"The problem with Joe Biden's 'chummy' politics.
You can be the best friend of everyone in Washington, or you can move the
country towards justice. But you can’t do both."

"He [Joe Biden] has consistently cited the era of racists like Strom Thurmond and
James Eastland as a time of greater “unity” and “civility” that we could learn lessons from.
Back then, he has said, “the political system worked.” [for white men] Biden gave
a warm and effusive eulogy for Thurmond at his 2003 funeral, saying it he had
been “honored” to work with a man who once declared that the “N*** race” would
never be admitted to Southern institutions. Thurmond himself said that he had no regrets
about his racist history, but Biden called him a “special man” of “grace” and “humility.”"

"Biden has held a romanticized view of Washington politics, one in which clashes of political
interests are mere “friendly disagreements” between people who are all fundamentally good.
This view has allowed Biden to treat white supremacists as his friends.
He has expressed nostalgia for the time when the Senate consisted almost entirely
of white men who resolved their problems civilly over a meal."

"Indeed, his commitment to bipartisanship stretches so far that Biden has been
willing to help Republicans defeat their Democratic opponents."

"You can be everybody in Washington’s best buddy, or you can move the country
toward justice, but you cannot do both. This is because there are powerful political
figures standing in the way of justice, and the steps you need to take are going to alienate them.
Biden’s career is best understood as what happens when a person who is not actively
evil decides to prioritize chumminess and conformity over taking difficult moral stands.
From the very start, Biden was making indefensible compromises and standing up for what was wrong."

"The problem here is not Biden’s “bipartisanship”. Sometimes you have to work
with people whose values you find repellent. ... The problem comes when you get
so close to the powerful, and spend so long around them, that you cease to be disgusted
by disgusting things. At this point, “friendliness” just means a lack of moral seriousness."

"Appeals to unity are always dishonest, however, because they are always selective.
Can you unify the fossil fuel companies whose profits depend on destruction with
the people who will actually suffer the consequences? It always turns out that
    somebody is excluded from consideration."

"Ultimately, the Biden approach to politics is a bankrupt one. If you’re all smiles
and flattery, you are not really committed to a set of progressive political values.
As Biden himself recently said to a room full of wealthy people, “nothing would
fundamentally change” if he was elected."

Although Joe Biden may not be quite actively evil like Donald Trump, in my view,
    Joe Biden seems morally bankrupt.

Please read at least the first paragraph above. Can you not agree that this is the way Donald Trump is? There is a lot in here basically saying how weak and political Biden.

But my point is not about Biden. It is about Trump who is not weak, and he who is not political. Be careful what you wish for.

Biden promises to 'cure cancer' if people elect him president
    By Monica Showalter

Is there anything Joe Biden can't do?

Joe Biden told an audience in Ottumwa, Iowa Tuesday that his White House would "cure" cancer should he beat President Trump in 2020.

"I've worked so hard in my career, that I promise you, if I'm elected president you're gonna see single most important thing that changes America, we're gonna cure cancer," Biden said to applause.
First he's teaching Detroit's illiterate single moms the easy-peasy art of computer coding, now he's promising to conquer cancer. Good thing we have Old Joe, otherwise cancer might never be cured.

Apparently, there's nothing that can't be done if voters put Joe Biden on the job. Why didn't we think of it earlier?

And speaking of jobs, Joe Biden actually has been put on the job of curing cancer, as President Obama's cancer 'moonshot' guru, as well as in leading a foundation in a private capacity. According to the Washington Examiner:

taking a cue from Duch, copy and paste someone else story.
Will he cure cancer even when he loses?

"Joe Biden apologises for remarks about segregationist senators"

Joe Biden should have apologized earlier.
Will his grudging apology now be enough to boost his faltering campaign?

I realize you despise that time period because older people were still valued.

It was a time when minds were changing towards Civil Rights as many whites championed Civil Rights like the Rev. Billy Graham. In fact, Ike was the first to get the ball rolling regarding Civil Rights, and yes, he was a white male Republican.
Yes, well, it was also a time of the last Republican president with a soul, Eisenhower.
