In all the years he's been misrepresenting things for a laugh he admitted to ONE error, and THAT was for the sake of calling out Fox and claiming "see how honest I am compared to Fox ?"
Yeah great he's very ethical.

Found the same one you posted.
Wow.
He's like jebus I guess, guy ain't never wrong about nuthin'.
The only time he owned up to making a mistake was just to call out Fox and claim to be uber-honest compared to them, he's a doosh.
Originally posted by vivifyThe you tube link has been pulled. Jon Stewart is admittedly a comedian, not a serious journalist, which isn't to say his "reports" don't contain truth. All news is a matter of perspective, including Fox. Hardly anything that has been written about Ferguson is lacking in perspective, and one has to separate fact from fiction and opinion, not an easy thing to do.
Brilliant.

I often wonder why it is that some folks tend to cite comedians like Stewart when he picks on Fox News, but ignore the occasions when he satirizes the other networks?
Originally posted by normbenignNo, it isn't. News is (well, should be) purely factual, untainted by subjectivity like "perspective". Don't confuse "perspective" with context.

You know why. Because Fox has an unprecedented history of not only bias, but deliberately twisting truth to further their right-wing agenda. The fact that Fox is the largest single news channel in the U.S. makes their tactics dangerous; therefore, people will cite attacks against Fox much more often than other networks, because a network like Fox needs to be kept in check.
