So if this was a Forum worthy of the title "Debates" some facts would be exchanged.
There is eveidently a well known Basketball player named Karmelo Anthony. Who was elected into the Basketball Hall of Fame this month.
He had also played for the US national team.
He was also active as actor in some television series.
There seems to have been an incident?
There is a criminal investigation running?
There is nothing to debate, but name-calling was on directly.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidNone were presented in the thread up to now. (And no a facebook post doesn't count as fact. Try to get a court to acept it as fact and you are in.)
FACTS strike again.
He had a history of violent assaults.
@Ponderable saidThere are facts out, I live minutes from there, and been in his school for meetings. No threat to his to his safety to use deadly force, he was being a punk under the other teams tent, skipped school to do it and brought a weapon.

@mike69 saidSo what did he do where?

Is a criminal investigation launched? If not why didn't you care for that?

What's a hisself?
@mike69 saidI've read that other students say he was always picking fights and being an aggressive troublemaking thug.

@Ponderable saidSome teenager with the same name as the basketball player stabbed another teen to death.

@Ponderable saidTo be fair, the famous player's name is Carmelo Anthony.
So if this was a Forum worthy of the title "Debates" some facts would be exchanged.

This kid has a K.
This is typical of the racist right, to try to mix these two up.
Anthony had a distinguished career, coming into the NBA same year as LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. He played for Denver 8 years and New York another 7 years, before bouncing around four or five more teams before he retired in 2023.
The ONLY reason this made "Republican Facebook" is the name similarity. To call out this kid just because he has the same name as a respected NBA player is the height of white "can't tell two black guys apart" bullsh--.

@mike69 saidHow many white boys did he beat up?

Is that what this is really about? White butthurt?
And no, I do not subscribe to Republican Facebook, so DNR.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidNow he’s a murder also, and it should be first degree considering he started it, only one with a weapon, and soon as the other student just touched him like he asked he stabbed him in the heart.
