Didya hear his rant tonight on Hillary? Seems she said that May was NOT that late for a primary season to be in process. She noted that her husband didn't clinch the nomination until June, and that in '68 the race wasn't over and RFK was still campaigning in Cali when he was assassinated, also in June. I see this is an answer to a question by stating historical facts. Not Olbermann!! He says she's done the unforgivable; committed the unpardonable sin by implying that she's just skulking about, lurking in the shadows, just in case some un-defined traumatic event might befall Sen. Obama.
I for one, do not get the connection. I usually agree with Olbermann--even when he goes over the top. But tonight, I'm "ashamed to be a liberal."

"Obama did the right thing by praising Clinton following the Oregon and Kentucky vote, and working to reweave the fabric of Democratic unity. And I’m delighted that Clinton said, “No matter what happens, I will work as hard as I can to elect a Democratic president this fall.” But then she insisted once again, that “we are winning the popular vote.” This lie undermined every word she said about coming together. [...] Look at Clinton’s math. She leads only if you give her 328,000 votes for the Soviet-style Michigan election, while giving Obama zero for not being on the ballot. And if you then ignore the caucuses of Iowa, Nevada, Maine, and my own state of Washington–where a record quarter million people turned out to participate. Our votes don’t count under Clinton’s math. She disappears them down the memory hole of history in an argument that invents reality as much as Bush’s claims of Iraq Weapons of Mass Destruction or Clinton’s earlier story about running the gauntlet of Bosnian sniper fire."

BTW, did you hear the light-bulb pop off-stage during Olbermann's rant? It was a bit unnerving. Wasn't it just last week there was a sound heard off-stage during Huckabee's NRA speech, too, prompting his inappropriate remarks involving Obama having a gun aimed at him? I must admit, I'm a little spooked.
A couple nights ago my four year old daughter had her first nightmare. She woke up hysterical, saying she heard a loud explosion. That same night I had a hyper-realistic dream that Obama had been assassinated, wherein I cried and mourned as if it had really happened. Of course, I awakened relieved it was only a dream, but remained disturbed nonetheless.
When I heard Hillary's recent remarks I was stunned. The possibility of Obama's assassination is real, and there is an unspoken mass fear of that possibility among Obama supporters. This man, whatever his political stances may be, is loved and admired by so many people in this country, Democrats and Republicans alike. He embodies the hopes of people from all walks of life. Hillary bringing up the possibility of Obama being assassinated as a justification for her to stay in the race is so far beyond the pale, that I can hardly consider her human anymore.
Seriously, I'd be really uncomfortable letting her around my kids...
