Not exactly news, nor surprising.
I agree with Lars that our Swedish prime minister Reinfeldt isn't doing
enough. Lars:
"Jag förstår att de vrider sig som maskar, ju. Men däremot borde de
gå ut och kraftigt fördöma detta, det är obegripligt att de inte gör
det."
"I can understand how they twist and turn like maggots. But they
should condemn this act. It's unbelievable to me that they don't."
However, the good news is that while Reinfeld and the government isn't
doing a whole lot to show that Sweden as a country won't stand for death
threats to its' citizens, a great majority of actual Muslims has condemned
this threat. You have to respect people like that, who (though most
definitely insulted) can rise above themselves and act in a civilised
manner.
What's the debate, you ask? Well, shouldn't the Swedish government
step up to the plate and let Al Qaida know that we won't stand for death
threats to our citizens?
I think they should. That's the very function of a government, is it not?
To serve and protect the citizens, whether in agreement all the time or
not.

What they always do, a police investigation to find out who did it, drag them into a court and punish them according to their laws.
