That is why he lied and called Soleimani a terrorist who was an imminent threat. Now we are finding out that is more bullcrap that is not true. Soleimani was fighting ISIS and Kissinger advised Trump to let ISIS fight Iran to keep them in check.

There is no evidence Soleimani ...[text shortened]... on it. It is another lie to start a war and they are playing the classified card to hide their lies.
Yawn. The Iranians declared war....seems the Donald quelled it.

But that money spent was already given to the military. it came from the budget that the congress passed already. How they use the money is in doubt but the dems had no control at that point

I think the reigns should be pulled in but only through constitutional amendment because, as I said in another post, as soon as the dems take the white house, any laws they pass now restricting presidential powers would be erased. And you know that, No1.
Of course, because the next president won't be a mental five-year-old.

Please state the provision in the Constitution that gives the President unlimited, unreviewable power to use military forces to repel "imminent" attacks only he sees.

This clears things up. Metal Brain and friends think “imminent threat” is defined as viewing body bags. Don’t shoot till our people are confirmed dead. Not before. They shoot, then we shoot.

And another thought to contend with...
The POTUS is the Commander in Chief. Hmmm. Problem

You should actually read the Constitution.

It is the Congress that decides what tax dollars are spent for not the President.
no it is not.

It seems both Republican and Democratic lawmakers are taking a dim view of the Trump administrations, reasoning about the airstrike last week that killed top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

Congress has every right (or at least ability) to assert its war powers, but to pretend that Trump is the first President to launch attacks without Congressional approval is historically ignorant.

@mchill.........Is this supposed to be a surprising revelation?......Your a smart man, Mac, and although you do have a gift for understating the obvious, this is no time for false modesty.
