So you're saying that people's perception of whether or not a lawyer is trying hard is more important than everyone being able to get legal representation.

what i am trying to say is that lawyers don't risk anything in a lawsuit(other than reputation). if your lawyer stinks, you might get ruined or get in jail for something you didn't commit. if lawyers would share both the spoils and the losses with their clients, they would be more likeable. 🙂

cochran is perhaps another reason why people don't like lawyers. to common opinion(my opinion 🙂) is that OJ did it. he was guilty as hell. but johnny saved his ass. so obviously the average person is feeling pissed that some could get away with murder if they have the greens to hire the best lawyers.
