Best thing to do is underground bunker with a few years of food and water.
If it gets bad and your walking around with guns the military will wipe you out quick.
After a few years you come out of your hole and hopefully the dust has settled.

I'm sure people in Venezuela wish they prepped more.
Even something as simple as silver coins will prevent starvation.
They have plenty of food but they can't afford it but the smart Venezuelans who had silver/gold can afford the food.
Not every prepper is a nut job who is a conspiracy theorist who takes it too far.
I have 2 months of food at all times.
Enough silver coins to last 3 years after that.
(That estimate is based on Silver's purchasing power in other failed countries after a financial collapse)

I have yet to get a rifle and my own house.
So if it happened right now I'm basically a dead man 😒

I'm between homes, so right now I am hanging out a bit,, no back up generator, water tanks have been emptied, eating down the food supply so we don't have to pay to move it.. but by gosh I have the weapons and ammo right at hand.. did Venezuela just get hit with an EMP? WE have radios in Faraday cages... an d a pretty good network of reliable people, the issue here, is river crossings, bottle necked traffic is where you get hit.
