That's right pal. I learned a long time ago, if one is not a physician, lawyer, engineer or other professional, don't try to be one, there is a reason why those people go through years of education and training. Maybe you could tell your stable genius in the White House that before he prescribes more Clorox injections for COVID-19 🙄
First of all I'm one of the "professionals" you explicitly listed. Secondly, You don't believe non professionals should think for themselves on simple questions like "is it a good idea to put COVID positive patients in close quarters with the people BY FAR most likely to die from contracting COVID"? Are you insane? You do not have to be a "professional" to engage in rational thought!

Well, if you're one the professionals, then you scarcely need to ask me anything if you already know the answers - do you??

Are you insane?

Yes, I'm insane. Now if you'll excuse me I have work to do. 🙂

No, you are not insane. You are just a puppet of your political masters.

If Trump had done this you would have been saying how stupid it is and he needs to suffer the consequences of every death.

But since a Democrat did it, well you really cannot say. You are a puppet.

Isn't that an incarceration term?

Yes it is, and if you're so dead set against it, I encourage you to go out and mix and mingle with whoever you want as is your God given right as an American, but don't start bitching if you come down with COVID-19. These lockdowns are put in place to save lives, not to incarcerate anyone. So please, shed your shackles and exercise your freedom - - and take your chances! 😏
Who started the term lockdown to describe a stay at home order? It had to have started somewhere?

It started in China.
It's a weaponised word designed to strike fear into the hearts of free Americans.
Chinese linguists worked for years to develop it.
(Even though lexicological warfare is prohibited by the Geneva Convention)

How about putting a covid patient in your house? And forcing you and your wife to stay there.
It’s only a seasonal flu, what are you worried about? A bit of sunshine and bleach, you’ll be fine.

So, what do you think about this lockdown but states like New York putting covid patients into nursing home containing the elderly?
Actually some guy had started a thread about this: Thread 185090.

It has nothing to do with the original question.

mchill told about what works in Washington state and is most probably just factual correct. Mchill can hardly be responsible forn what happens in New York.
