As I said, the US economy isn't "shut down"; that is just propaganda as you well know. Moreover, the US economy cannot possibly return to anything approaching normal conditions in the midst of a deadly epidemic.

So your position to allow perhaps hundreds of thousands of deaths for little purpose is morally indefensible.

8000 people die everyday in the US. Less than 2 percent of all deaths of people 0 to 40 are a result of coronavirus.
