"It's said" don't mean IT IS 'til you prove it, and as far as the rest goes .. every American has a vested interest in oil and military equipment.
It's what drives our economy.
It's what protects us from fools like you .. and it helps warm the globe too.

as i understand it - correct me if i am wrong - but it seems that america is now sometimes treating their own wayward soldiers as murderers ...
this seems like a big step.
it sends an obvious message to me:
anyone will be held responsible when they perform criminal acts ... being in the u.s. forces does not give immunity from criminal courts!
(it can also be accompanied by a paranoid overture: junior soldiers can be scapegoated as the big bosses back out of the quagmire.)
on the whole i believe it to be a positive step ...
