microsoft doesn't make PCs. they only make the O/S, and that's optional at a lot of companies. you can get linux instead.

linux and even unix are pretty good systems to realize you have very little in terms of choice as far as really cool user friendly software goes. So you may never be taken over by a virus again 'kay, but who needs to do a degree in IT or Comp Eng just to be able to install a program that organises email. Sure it maybe free in your copy left multiverse, but if your time is worth more than $30/hr, don't you have better things to do?

not really, but anyways what sets Macs apart from Unix and Linux is the visual interface, because I mean curved lines are better than stright ones!!!

Mac users I hope you know what I'm talking about......

Windows people, why don't you like macs?
Several Reasons people prefer PCs

1. GAMING for many people gaming is important and PCs are way ahead in this matter

2. Price: Macs are good computers but they are not cheap..Well a good mac that is..yes yes they have the portable cheap one.....but come on..

3. The CULT of APPLE is very annoying. People who are Macheads come close to being Moonies or Deadheads in outlook. As if there could never be another religion or musical group that can make, do or play well.

4. APPLE is turning into another Microsoft.... IE> IPOD... That is just as ANNOYING as anything gates puts out. Seems like Apple was not aware that MP3s have been around for years before the IPOD came out. Plus the quality of the music is crap on ITUNES on line.

5. Objective. I have never met a MAChead who is objective at all about computers. Yet, I know several PC owners who have a Mac and a PC and seem quite happy ,,,but A MAChead seems to never have anything outside of MAC, MAC, MAC. That is fine. but please quite your dysentery of the mouth about how perfect and wonderful Jobs latest "Unique" product is.

6. IPHONE....none of the technology is new..yet all the Macheads think that the mobilephone was not available till this year.

7. Graphic arts etc... Most macheads go on an on about the graphics etc..yet ignore the fact that most PC software now on the market is just as good as mac and has been for sometime.

8. SPECIAL...the only thing special about Apple is that MACHEADS think they are special... Maybe you should get a consultation from the Scientologists....I think their first test if free..Ask Tom Cruise or John Travolta.....

Macs are great. PCs are rubbish. Steve Jobs is the messiah. Bill Gates is the anti-christ.

Amen.

I'm not a Mac head, because I don't brag about how good they are, it just annoys me when PC users talk about how good they are

p.s. I still have to use PC's at my work and it sucks!!!I hope my boss doesn't see me typing this...πŸ˜›

Do not deny your Macheadedness, brother. To do so borders on heresy. Stand tall and proclaim that when the revolution comes, the streets will run ankle deep with the blood of PC users.

This is a mindless debate.
To call Microsoft the evil empire and praise Apple as being some saintly bastion is ridiculous.
The reality is, Apple priced themselves out of the competition which is why they're relegated to the minority.
For the everyday Joes out there who just want to surf the web, send emails, put together a word doc or two, do some spreadsheet calcs, or whatever, it makes absolutely no difference what computer they use.
I don't have a bug up my arse for either - I'll use whatever'e around.
I will say though, Mac's monopoly on some high end graphic software - eg. Final Cut Pro - is telling against PCs.
But otherwise, who cares?

So you're saying that Macs are for the creative and dynamic computer Übermensch, while PCs are for the common herd who wallow in their bland mediocrity? OK, I can go with that.

have no idea why anyone would want a mac... they're proprietary... basically, if your graphics card dies back to apple to purchase a new one who will - no doubt - charge you so much more than a graphics card for a pc... also, its a whole new os... also, they have the worst selling line to make people convert... you wont catch a virus on a mac... in fact you would if anyone could be bothered to write one for a mac!!! only around 10% of the population have a mac, therefore, this is like saying, 90% of drivers drive a mini and 10% drive a peugeot... more road accidents happen with minis than peugeots so buy a peugeot...!!!

Tsk, tsk, methinks you doth protest a little too much. Your hostility reveals a textbook case of "Mac envy". The sooner you quit suppressing your latent desire to own a sleek new iMac, the sooner you can begin the healing process. You will thank Steve Jobs in the end.
