GRANNY.
THEY ARE NOT MARXISTS, just drug dealers that say they are marxists to make an excuse to bear arms.
Marxism is based on the analysis of "the conflicts between the powerful and the subjugated; not the drug dealers in search of power to fund their smugling
A lot of terrorists called themselves marxists when what they do is attack the people they claim to protect
There's only one man that I read that followed Karl Max's work...Ernesto Guevara de la Serna or aka Che Guevara

Well then, maybe it's a good thing that the US is sending militery aid to the Columbian gov't. We're simply trying to stop the drug cartels.
Maybe you should stop reading and strap on some iron, like Cher did,
and follow his lead. I believe in Cher's philosophy, but 'am too old to kick ass.

I hope you're kidding w/ that anorexic creepy lady...and THEY ARE NOT IN D.C .
Instead of meddling in someone else's problem why not help your own people and get out of the Recession, and lower the gas prices because I hear that it will get to be 12/gallon ouch

Yes, you're correct we souuld Not be meddling in Columbia's problems.
I believe that all drugs should be legal in the US. Cher used drugs and look how far he got. Cher's an internation hero and i believe it was because of his drug use as a young adult. I, too, am on drugs and believe it has gotten me to where i am in the chess world. As far as D.C. goes.....yes, there are Many FARTS in the District of Colombia.
Put your books aside, young man, and follow GRANNY to the mountains where we shall live and fight forever. Hosta lumbago, der Amigo!

Cher? a hero? I hope you're not talking about the singer Cher because she's the only one I hear goes by that name.
As far as drugs goes; I respect your point of view but I tend to differ; I am against the legalization of drug use for which I would not like my child to use them; if they are legal then people would be free to get them much easily, and no control could be made.
Good for you that it has taken you where you are at in the chess world; however what i care most is the real world; I am not diminishing chess in any way, it is just there are more things in life.
Sorry Granny I won't follow anyone to any mountains

You want to criminalize things simply so you can control your child as an adult? That's sick. Do you want to criminalize rival religions? How about criminalizing rival political parties while you're at it. Make sure you keep that child under your thumb, no matter how old she or you gets. Screw liberty. It's all about you controlling your children till the day you die, right?

huh??? you were probably high when you wrote that. Drug use is ILLEGAL and penalized; nobody said anything about religion. There's no need to criminalize political parties because they do it to themselves. Liberty is one thing, licentiousness (not sure I translated right, libertinaje in spanish) another.
Give one logical reason why drug use is not legal
I assume you do have any children for giving such weak statements about controlling children

I'm responding to this:

I am against the legalization of drug use for which I would not like my child to use them

I believe you're saying you like having drugs criminalized because you don't want your child to use them, right?

How does this sound:

I support the criminalization of coffee because I would not like my child to drink it.

It's pretty much the same thing.

They are criminalized and for good reason; don't you see all the stuff that happens when people are on drugs

To make such analogy would be ignorant if not stupid besides the fact that Coffee won't kill you

Yes, I do. Don't you see all the stuff that happens when people are in politics? We must outlaw politics!

Why don't we criminalize the things some people do to others instead of what they do with their own bodies? Alcohol makes car accidents more likely, but alcohol is not outlawed, nor should it be. Blindfolded drivers would also cause more accidents, but we don't outlaw blindfolds, nor should we.

Politics unfortunately are necessary in order to run a country; or at least to communicate with other countries

Ever heard of DUI; it is penalized what people do to others.
As of now you haven't said a good logical reason as of why drug use shouldn't be penalized

Because all people have an inalienable right to pursue happiness.

So, you can drink alcohol, but you can't drink and drive. You think this is the same as the laws restricting, say, heroin or methamphetamines? Why the difference? Are you in favor of criminalizing alcohol absolutely?

Meth didn't kill me. Neither has marijuana or cocaine.

In any case, you have no right to make me a criminal (i.e. send armed men to imprison me while ruining my reputation via the law) in order to protect my life. Screw you. Stop f'ing meddling! My life is not your business! Get your tentacles out of my affairs! Live your own life...not mine!

"Run a country"? What does that mean? I can easily communicate with people in other countries via the internet. I don't need George Bush for that.

I agree that politicians are useful things. My point is simply that we should not outlaw things based only on correlation with unpleasant consequences, especially if those consequences are not caused by the thing you want to outlaw. For example, alcohol does not cause car accidents; drunk drivers do, and they should be prosecuted for causing accidents and driving drunk on public property.

Don't worry it will someday...

Tell that to a judge and see how much time he'll give you...that's all I have to say 😛
