At this stage I think cutting off Canada from the Internet would be much more important.
Why yall haven't invaded and taken the country by force is beyond me 🤷

Just wait till the planet heats up and the oceans rise.

However, I suspect that many Americans would be easily rebuffed by Canadian snark and manners.

A teacher who snaps can easily just bring a gun to school.

You can't protect people from situations where someone just snaps.
Think they should be able to purchase a firearm
while in this ''snapped,'' condition?
They can as it stands now.....That guy in ARIZONA,
shot the female U.S. Representative,
had just got out of the bug house.
No one is calling for a ban on firearms, most everyone,
including most gun owners, want common sense restrictions.
To me, that would be, at least, background checks.
C'mon folks, you're always plugging for voter I.D.
as the sensible thing to do.
It's easier to buy a gun than get a drivers license.

One.

Now imagine every teacher armed and trained.
No shooter would walk into that scenario.
Yeah cos them elementary school kid killers, their well known for their rationality.

I don’t think you understand the temporal implications of the word ‘snap’.

@AThousandYoung

Very rarely does someone just instantly snap.

It's always a buildup...

So where are the funds coming from to train, arm and motivate these teachers? They’re already underpaid and under supplied.

@AThousandYoung

By your logic Mother Teresa could have just went psycho and started killing people.

Wrong.

It's always a buildup.

Underpaid?

Teachers here make 80k a year.

The training would be university programs that they take.
A teacher has to take certain courses to be a teacher.
So make combat/shooter scenarios a course.

It ain't hard to learn how to shoot.

Please explain why men who own handguns are more likely to kill themselves. By your logic suicidal people can just as well go out and buy a gun to kill themselves with.

“Here” (Canada) doesn’t have mass shooting problems.

Here (USA) teachers in the inner city make 40k (I know because I was one).

Good thing she didn’t carry a gun.
