@shavixmir saidShav, you told us that no one is illegal, on the same thread where you said that everyone is entitled to free housing. Can you tackle the no-one-illegal part?
Which planet are they from?
As top planet, it has been pretty much resolved that life, as we know it, does not exist on the 8 planets Lib scientists dumped Pluto, one of the first acts of liberalism, and look how far they have come...no end in sight of what they will do.
So not from one of those planets.
@jj-adams saidLet's all make cute toss-away comments about the misery in Massachusetts. God help us.
Governor says they can't take in any more of them.
Guess being a sanctuary state didn't work out for them.

Why would Shav in an off-hand comment imply that they are from a planet. It is common practice to use that term for someone who is from another country. Why, he is messing with us.

@jj-adams saidYou seem to enjoy reveling in problems, ignoring causes, and making excuses for solutions that don't work. Probably the schtick is a hoot at cocktail parties.

@averagejoe1 saidA person cannot be illegal.

Behaviour can be illegal, according to law.
So, you can say someone is illagally residing in a country. You cannot call that person an illegal.
If there is no life other than on Earth in our solar system, I must presume the aliens you are talking about are from a galaxy far, far away.
@shavixmir saidIf a person exists in a space Contrary to or forbidden by law, the person is an illegal. If I trespass, I am called a trespasser ..

Both have same bad behavior. Hey….at least I have a passport.
I have always wondered about the logic of showing my passport, as I enter from a flight from the UK, but these Mexicans do not have to show their passports as they enter from Mexico. Do you have any thoughts on that?

@averagejoe1 saidYou can be a trespasser; you are trespassing on land. That is behaviour.

You cannot be an illegal, because there is nothing declaring you being legal, illegal or whatever.
You may as well declare someone seismic or something.

@shavixmir saidIt’s a term used to describe someone living and or working in a country without the legal right to do so. So your whole argument is over the official term/meaning used to describe these people?

@mike69 saidNo. It’s about the basic principle of calling an individual illegal.

Or vermin. Or whatever.
Behaviour is what should be addressed.
@shavixmir saidI’m sorry I don’t understand the logic here when they are in a location in violation of that country’s laws. I do agree behavior should be addressed but at the same time they are in a location they shouldn’t be at, they are there illegally. The term alien and when that word was adapted and used in conjunction with illegal im not sure or if it truly matters? My opinion only, your welcome to yours of course.

@mike69 saidYou say it yourself: they are illegally there. They, themselves, are not illegal.

And, besides, I oppose borders entirely. So, anything you say on the matter is moot.

@shavixmir saidIt’s just the term used to separate lawfully entering people alien to the country there entering and those doing so illegally. I think you’re making a mountain out of a mole hill here.

A major country without borders and rules as used to control the masses not so much an individual as speaking would be in trouble in this day and age and not worth living in.
@shavixmir
Before words hurt peoples feelings they were referred to as illegal aliens here. That is what I grew up hearing in the news every night. It is a strange thing to say... Illegal alien.
