@mghrn55 But to get to the point, you conduct narratives of possible (and not yet proven) actions of a past President to try put into a more favorable light the absolute failures of a current President.
With the sound evidence out there for all to see.
mgh, the president has done great things and some bas things.
His economy was the best this country ever saw and that affects
330 million people in a positive way.
Then he does a bunch of *meaningless* tweets and the libs go crazy.
And that's how you all judge him. Forget the economy. And there are
many in here like wolf and No1 that spin total hogwash to try and
discredit Trump's economic policies to the point that they claim
he's don nothing at all to bring the economy to great heights.
The most important reason to want to have Trump in office, however,
is that avoids the toxic rule of democrats. Very important.
@earl-of-trumps saidI responded about the economy in another post.

I’ll add to that here.
First, the economy is an extension of the upswing in the recovery under the Obama administration.
It would probably be as good if Hilary had won.
Trump has boosted the economy with more debt.
And to top that off, he has squandered all the gains with a few months of bungling the response to COVID-19.
For example, US GDP contraction 32.9%
EU about 12% (on average).
Canada about same.
But I digress....I know you want to talk about Clinton and Epstein.
Oh btw.....
Clinton had a far better economic than Trump ever had.
Look up “surplus” if you need to.
@earl-of-trumps saidThat’s why I said “probably”.

That is ALL I have to read. You have no evidence, not to mention, credibility.
Other than that, you're a nice guy.
It was a reasonable “thumb in the air” estimate considering the general 8 year up trend during the Obama administration.
And also considering that Hilary was the First Lady in an administration that generally ran balanced budgets or surpluses during the 90’s.
If you’re looking for evidence, that isn’t coming. Hilary didn’t win in 2016.
But Trump has undone all his gains (and much of Obama’s) because of his bumbling of the COVID-19 response.
You don’t need evidence for that, do you ?
Btw, thanks for the nice comment on the last line. 🙂
@earl-of-trumps saidYou think today's economy is stronger than 1950's USA?!

@earl-of-trumps saidOne way to know conservatives are just making things up is the way they speak in general terms, never mentioning anything specific.

Liberals can point to specific unscrupulous acts, like shutting down the government multiple times, saying the Affordable Care Act is the "worst law in history", blatant voter suppression with voter ID laws, etc.
Liberals tend to be specific; conservatives can't because they have no legitimate points. So unspecified claims like Dems are "toxic" or Trump has done "good" for the country are all conservatives can do.
You claim the economy is good because of Trump. What specific thing did Trump do to cause this? As you frantically search Google for an answer because you obviously can't name anything, liberals can name specific acts From Obama such avoiding a recession through bailouts, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, etc.

Vivify, need I remind you, you are far off the beaten path of this thread. Also,
I addressed this issue in another thread. I don't need GOOGLE, for god's sake.
1. Gave tax cuts to all workers.
2. Gave tax cut incentives for businessmen to bring cash back to the US, creating jobs
3. Sunk unemployment to record lows, especially for African Americans.
I can name more but I believe I showed specific things Trump did without using google.
You are dismissed.
@earl-of-trumps saidYou're still not giving specifics. How *specifically* did Trump "sink" unemployment? What act did he sign, what specific steps did he take?

For the rest of your post, we finally have something...sorta specific. You mentioned tax cuts; Bush also gave all Americans tax cuts, yet the economy became worse under his presidency. You have to name specifically how Trump's tax cuts allegedly improved the economy.
Also, many companies actually cut workers after Trump's tax cuts:
https://democrats.org/news/more-layoffs-by-corporations-that-profited-enormously-from-trumps-tax-law/
This cites sources from the Associated Press, NBC News, etc., showing that corporations benefiting from Trump's tax break had massive layoffs, increasing unemployment.
That last point shows exactly why conservatives won't name specifics. They're too easy to refute.
@vivify You're still not giving specifics. How *specifically* did Trump "sink" unemployment? What act did he sign, what specific steps did he take?
You're way off base with this, Viv. I'm the OP and I posted it to open up
Clinton for ridicule.
With that said, the US had a policy that allowed foreign investors an
advantage over US investors. To wit, America's three biggest beer manufacturers,
Budweiser, Miller, and Coors, were all sold to foreign firms. Trump corrected
this unfair advantage for foreign investors and when he did, a flood of American
CASH came back into the country. The money was used to INVEST. America's
economy took off, unemployment dropped rapidly.
This is from memory of the situation, not GOOGLE.
Now stop with the bullcrap, vivify. Quite trying to say Trump did nothing. He
did plenty and you won't admit it. None of the dems will. It's all about Obama
and how the country was going, they say.
bull.
Now let's get back to insulting Bill Clinton.
@earl-of-trumps saidThat's still too general. A "flood of cash"? How much? Who benefited? The already rich?

I've been asking for specifics, you've provided none. But honestly, I didn't expect any, I was just 100 percent sure you'd just prove my point: conservatives never name specifics because they can't.
Now let's get back to insulting Bill Clinton.
His wife is Hillary.
@earl-of-trumps saidI think Vivify wants you to tell the day Trump turned on the economy, what time he rose that morning, who he told to go on what trip and how he followed up on it, and where, and the percentage of runup each day for which sector. But, do you think the badgering will end there?🤔
@vivify I've been asking for specifics, you've provided none.
I gave you specifics as best I could. You told me not to use google.
Enough of the interrogations!
Right, Bill is married to Hilary Clinton. That's a conviction right there. Now you're in the spirit
@thelistener saidI was ready to throw the T-word at him but I would get flagged.

@earl-of-trumps saidWho's your candidate, Vermin Supreme again?
All I can say is, if my Libertarian candidate can't get it, I would take any other
viable human over any democrat candidate.
