People don't need to be "tricked" into being ignorant and bigoted. What's difficult is getting them to mature beyond those things.

Ever consider that they are intelligent and against providing special rights to those who perform un-natural acts? And just because they don't support your view does that make them bigots? Or are most Califorian are bigots?

Why do you refer to it as "un-natural acts"? Homosexuality has been around as long as there have been people. And they don't want to provide "special rights", they want the same rights provided to everyone else.

Define "unnatural act".

Seems to me the bigoted and irrational people are the opponents of Prop. 8:

Wearing clothes is unnatural. Watching television is unnatural.

Hell, monogamy amongst males is unnatural.

So, WTF are you talking about?

Either everything humans do or nothing humans do is natural. You cannot define it in any other consistent way.

As a demonstration of your level of ignorance, you seem to fail to recognize that Prop 8 was about removing the rights of homosexuals rather than "providing special rights". They are bigots because they sought to remove these rights from homosexuals only because they are different from themselves. Evidently the majority of Califonia voters are bigoted towards homosexuals.

You should stick with subjects you understand, such as theoretical physics -- logic just isn't your forte. Here are some activities that are natural: loving your parents, caring for your child, marrying a member of the opposite sex. Here are some activities that are unnatural: eating your own feces, jabbing yourself with scissors, engaging in sex with animals, etc.

Define "natural act".

On a side note, logic is a mandatory part of my curriculum, and I passed it with an A*.

""We have boys dying...protecting our freedom in Iraq, while we have our freedom being taken as people rip signs out and destroy them and deface them," says Pastor Garlow."

The hypocrisy is unbelievably thick here since Garlow was seeking to take away the freedom of homosexuals to marry.

What's more, what "vandalism and violence" they reportedly suffered pales compared to the vandalism and violence homosexuals and those advocating rights for homosexuals have suffered over the years.

but we haven't got any proof of that, and you don't show any understanding of logic.

You should tell the whole story: There would have been no need for Prop 8 had the activist judges from the California Supreme Court not struck down Prop 22 (which has the same exact wording as Prop 8), even after it had been overwhelmingly approved with 61.4% of voters in favor of it. The people have spoken...twice now, and still you belabor the point. Since you're so supportive of lost causes, I bet you would have made a good Confederate.

You're not anymore virtuous because of it and it has no bearing on this argument.
