And I find it sad that you do not heed the warnings that something needs to be done in order to prevent economic collapse. Either that or you should plan on giving Congressional testimony for us to defend the position that NOTHING should be done?
Edit: See ya in the soup lines.

Well the answer is obvious. It's all "W"'s fault. In fact, we should look to the Democrats for their continued leadership concerning these matters. I'm just sleep better at night knowing that they are a heart beat away from capturing both the Congress and Presidency as well as to soon appoint their liberal cronies to the Supreme Court. I think that having ...[text shortened]... ing the Republican party altogether.
Thanks for showing me the light my Obamic crony.
It's doubtful I'll vote for Obama BTW.

Nice try.
Katie Couric is an economic advisor, don't you know, and his interview was, er, research for
SuperMcCain to fly into Washington and rescue the economy with a few strokes of his pen.
I'm so glad that he's able to juggle such a complicated schedule.

Originally posted by NemesioWell it is now clear to me that the whole affair is nothing more to these guys than an opportunity to politicize themselves, after all, both Democrat and Republican alike were only talking about McCain and Obama rather than the business at hand. In fact, what Skipper pointed out about McCain not reading this document and that was given to reporters the minute they walked out of negotiations about the political crisis. They did this before uttering one other single word about why they where even there. All I can say is that I am so thoroughly disgusted with both political parties that I am seriously thinking of giving up voting altogether. In fact, it is even a wonder we still have a country with the ilk that is in Washington....then again, we may not have one come Monday morning.

In short, Wall Street and Washington deserve each other. It just makes me ill that we involve such thieves as middle men in our financial affairs.

Interesting. I have not heard so much as a peep out of you in protest to anything the man has done or said yet you cannot find it within yourself to vote for him? Is it just me or is something amiss?
I have other problems with Obama regarding foreign policy that are outside the scope of this thread. An Obama presidency would be far preferable to the third Bush term that McCain offers but I also look at other candidates besides the two big money parties and vote for the one who is most in tune with my positions.

Is he still in the running? He could steal my vote from Obama.
