Sorry, but McD's and BK have NOTHING on Braum's(those of you in the Midwest know what I'm talking about). A 1/3 lb. bacon cheeseburger, no special sauce with mayo on both sides of the bun......*mouth watering*

The real reason managers have a high attrition rate is because of high emplyee turnover rate, plus the teens of today that work at these establishments have no work ethic: show up late or not at all, quit on a dime, back-talk the manager, steal food, have no food safety concerns, etc...the managers develop ulcers, high blood pressure, or get carried away to the funny-farm. It take a tough hombre to manage a fast food joint these days....
There's no independant decision-making for the manager, only hire, fire and arrange the daily schedule. Oh, and encourage 'team spirit'. No wonder someone came up with "McJob".
