B) The dossier was reported in the news well after revelations of Trump's involvement with the Russians had already been reported including a Washington Post story on June 16, 2016 entitled: "INSIDE TRUMP’S FINANCIAL TIES TO RUSSIA AND HIS UNUSUAL FLATTERY OF VLADIMIR PUTIN";
C) That there are multiple lines of evidence regarding Russian collusion with Trump's campaign is hardly surprising.
The media gives whatever information it can glean from ongoing investigations all the time.

I do not know why it says text shortened. It should read;
CNN admits that the dossier is both "unsubstantiated" in it's salacious parts and it has been admitted that it was paid for in part by the DNC. While that doesn't prove anything,the same thing can be said about the dossier itself. Until there is proof it means no more than any other unproven allegation.
