@earl-of-trumps saidHave you ever sat courtside at a Williams match? I doubt it.
Are you out of your mind????
You've no idea of the accuracy, pace and power that Serena Williams brings into her game.
I stand by my original remark as a witness to her live performances.
Haters hate for their own reasons.

@wolfe63 saidI never sat next to Fabiano Caruna, either. Does that mean I cannot appreciate his 2800+ chess rating? Only two people alive that can say that!

So if I say Yifan Hou, the top rated woman, is rated 2658, does that mean I am a hater? PLEASE!!
I would think that tennis ratings are almost as reliable as chess ratings.
don't know why you fight it. she's about 700 in the world. you can play suck-up to her all you want, it doesn't change her rating.
And what the F, wolfe, you calling me a hater of Williams???? Jeeeeeezus, you're just full of lies and slurs here, eh?
Isn't this the liberal way? "Agree with me or I get very angry and call you a racist and misogynist."
this is supposed to validate your correctness. Jeeezus'b'jeeezus.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidShe would only double fault if she thought her opponent was respectable enough that a strong server were important.
I would get a point off her. (But only if she double-faulted).
An amazing player.
0 points for you (and me).
@shavixmir
Sounds like derangement, but that said, the #1 ranked female tennis player in the world, can't beat the 100th ranked male tennis player.
@vivify saidMaybe even a few pro male players especially when she was a few years younger.
I would PAY those guys to take a punch from Tyson.
Serena would demolish the vast majority of non-pro players, male or female.
I think her best days are behind her now. She had a good run as well as her sister.

@Very-Rusty
Yep, we all lose it eventually but it is kind of moot since man V woman in tennis happened only once, at least in public, for the whole time tennis has been around.
@sonhouse
But, erm, D64 is correct
Your earlier post on this was just inaccurate
I am not D64's greatest admirer, but on this thread she/he has been the strongest debater.
