"Microaggressions" = a complaint used by professional victims as a means to control other people.

Ironic, yes?

"P.S. Instant 'thumbs down' after I posted the first paragraph.
Another example of arrogant men refusing to listen to women."

Or, people just don't like YOU or any of the hateful things that you've got to say. But you go on and rationalize it however makes you feel best.

Sorry, what did you say?

from Urban Dictionary:

Microaggressions: Acts or words that are perceived to be insulting by a person who is looking to be insulted, whether or not that was the intent of the transgressor. Usually a symptom of a persecution complex.

That may be true, but the evidence does not indicate a disparity in social media use between the genders.

According to https://sproutsocial.com/:

75% of women use Facebook, while only 63% of men.

43% of women use Instagram, while only 31% of men.

21% of women use Twitter, compared to 24% of men.

24% of women use LinkedIn, compared to 29% of men.

To be sure, these numbers are hard to verify, but the general idea that FB and Instagram are more popular among women and Twitter and LinkedIn among men, leaving a relatively balances over-all picture, is pretty consistent.
