India has it tough right now. Trouble with China, Kashmir/Pakistan.

All three have the bomb

Modi have five new aircarfts Rafale from France now.

Rafale is more advanced than J20.

A bit misleading since China has little or no need to import.

Predictably, no Westerner here has criticized India's long oppression of Kashmir's Muslim majority.

There are uprisings over who owns the land, of course, and as the population
is majority Muslim, they get support from Pakistan. There's the rub. I am sure
Muslims in India are not treated badly.

Many Westerners here are Islamophobic and hate Muslims.
They profess (insincere) concern for Muslims only in a few cases where
they hate other peoples (e.g. Chinese) more than they hate Muslims.

You did well for a while. Oh, well. 😕

Yet under a new “self-reliant India” plan by the prime minister, Narendra Modi, to boost the economy post-Covid-19 and reduce costly imports, 40 new coalfields in some of India’s most ecologically sensitive forests are to be opened up for commercial mining.

Coal Fields?? Few things make me more angry than this. With solar power now cheaper than fossil fuels, there is no need to destroy our environment simply to produce energy. It sounds like Narendra Modi is almost as stupid as Donald Trump.
