I never personally precribed to the theory that the moon landings were faked. However I did read an interesting article in the newspaper this morning that stated that the original tapes have been lost (!)
NASA's explaination was that previous staff who knew the location of the tapes, retired or died and the location was forgotten.
The tape's were the only clear recordings in existance; every other copy was recorded by pointing a video camera at a moniter that held the original images.
The missing tapes were never digitally enhanced.

lol, You never know maybe the original landings were faked and the rest were real! This kind of reasoning just boggles my mind and reminds me that those in power hold the trump cards. The rest of us can go on guessing with an enourmus amount of sophistication and complexity, but the problem is unsolveable. I think this is what they rely on.
edit: I'm a terrible speller but everyone gets my meaning.

oh God, this pops up all the time....it is inconceivable that there are people dumb enough to claim the moon landings were faked....saw an interesting documentary awhile back that shredded all the arguments and made the people crying fake look like total idiots.
