In the current economic destruction caused by the government shutting down the economy, are law suits coming for failed business, foreclosed homes, or other money related carnage?
Should they be reimbursed, and no, not by a few hundred dollars or even a thousand dollars which will do virtually nothing to curb it?
All the stimulus will do is accelerate the demise of the US fiscally.
@whodey saidThe current economic destruction is caused by a pandemic, not the government's response to it. The putting in place of social distancing requirements will save hundreds of thousands of lives and the economy trillions of dollars in human production and consumption over time that would have otherwise been lost.

@no1marauder saidSo if a life is destroyed because of the mandatory destruction of the economy imposed by the government, we are to assume that many more would have died otherwise so it's all OK?

That is the speculation. How do you prove such a speculation? Moreover, should we assume that the government is free to destroy lives in order to save more lives?
If so, why does government not outlaw smoking as it destroys the smoking industry? And why does the government run liquor stores when alcohol is the one drug that kills more people every year than any other drug?
