Eisenhower JFK Carter Reagan Bush Clinton Bush Obama, Biden.
Question: To which president would this most likely apply?
“Cripple a man, then give him a crutch”.
It’s Easy, cause you don’t have to waste time in discussion. (No cheating!!). And Marauder, pleae resist the temptation to ask another question!!! Get your own thread!!
Great weekend everyone! AvJoe

We use the Socratic Method here. I call on you, ask you a question, and you answer it. At times you may think you have reached the correct answer. I assure you that is simply a delusion on your part. You will never find the ultimate, correct, and final answer. In my classroom there is always another question - another question to follow your answer. My little questions spin the tumblers of your mind, my little questions are the fingers that probe your brain. We do brain surgery here, you teach yourself the law, but I train your mind. You come in here with a skull full of mush and leave thinking like a lawyer!”

@mchill saidGreat McHill. You have shined theee last few days. My granny and i are gaming which of the libs will come over to our side during the Biden reign. Cud it be you?

Is Paper Chase available to watch again? Binge city! Id live to. I best remember his contracts issues, and Mr, HAAART!?!?!
@Contenchess
All kidding aside, it is quite 'telling' that no liberal dared answer the multiple choice question.
As for conservatives, they didn't have to. Like, it would be silly if I asked my conservative friends to answer what is 2 plus 2.
I think I will put another notch in my gun on this one.

Interesting idea, but I don't think "us vs them" works. With Conservatives and Liberals so equally matched in numbers, both sides need to give ground a little in order to make progress. 🙂
@mchill saidWell said, but why does it seem, to conservatives, that the liberals are demanding more from the conservatives than the conservatives are demanding from the liberals??

@averagejoe1 saidThat may depend on who is in power at the time. Liberals thought exactly the same thing about Conservatives during Trump's term.

@mchill saidWhen I have said in the past, why don't libs just live their lives and leave conservatives alone, I was being serious. Every time we turn on TV, maybe to watch History Channel or something, we see some demand for 'change' by libs that flies right in the face of conservatives. The list is long. Govt regulations is a good example,.....The first thing Biden did at inauguration was shut down pipelines, just one thing after another. What did Trump do? He deregulated everything he could get his hands on. TWO EXACT opposite actions.

Note that Biden's action strangled the country left and right. Just his border mess is drawing heavily on our resources. However,Trump action was to release everyone from constraints.
Do libs not find this a bit punitive on the part of Biden?

That depends on how you look at it. GW Bush's "deregulation" mania allowed financial institutions to peddle their toxic mortgage packages to anyone with a pulse, sinking the housing market, and by extension the economy. No one wants the government telling them what to do, I sure don't, but without these rules, average citizens are vulnerable to the tactics of powerful and corrupt people who would exploit them for their own gain.
As far as those pipelines are concerned, I would remind you that wind and solar energy is now cheaper to produce than fossil fuels. The loss of a few pipelines of expensive, dirty oil is not going to damage the economy. Oil products will always be needed of course, but their place as America's prime energy source is quickly going the way of hoop skirts and buggy whips.
@AverageJoe1
Well it can't be Trump, he would go, I'll cripple you and give you a roll of paper towels.
@mchill saidYour first paragraph, is about Bush. Would I lie?. Bush! You write about Bush. The Bush of over 12 years ago. You write about Bush. You and Marauder must be roommates. And you suggest Bush regulation(?)(His was regulation?) had the same basis as did that of Trump? Geez O Petey.

Please keep your eye on the sparrow, McHill, you were getting so close. You sound not unlike that Son person.
Your second para is so off-the-wall that you might 'orta start a separate thread on it?? But my first thought(..Be a Winner type stuff) is that if we are so sweet and dump fossil? China, India....they ain't dumping nothing. Well, except carbon and garbage into the atmosphere, building up productions, and kicking USA butt. So, they will win over us, as the libs here go skipping through the green space. Jesus.
@AverageJoe1
Demanding from liberals?
HERE IS WHAT THEY DEMAND:
ALL us repubs vote NO on ANY bill coming from dems and if you think otherwise, SHOW ME THE REPUB BILLS designed to actually help common folks?
There is one and one ONLY agenda for these anti American Repubs in congress and senate.
STOP ANY DEM BILL.
Well that and their OTHER agenda, to kill democracy in the US totally.
Work the state laws, now about four HUNDRED voter suppression laws sweeping the country in repub states.
So prove me wrong if you think those laws are NOT about voter suppression.
Oh, yeah, it is ALL about voter ID right? So the law that makes it a felony to even give a bottle of water to a voter in line, that is NOT intimidation?
Just how cruel does it have to become before you notice something is seriously wrong?
Well, I forgot this also: as a White Nationalist you would NEVER worry about actually losing democracy in the US because you think why vote anyway since democrats have rigged ALL the elections now.
