Maybe you are looking at it from the wrong angle.
With the difference in your ages it could be that after many years of observing both of you grow at different rates etc. She may simply be pleasantly surprised at the way he is developing into a young man.
It's likely that she did the same with you. Try and help your brother and stay close to him. My brother and I drifted apart and it bothers my mother and sister that we did so. Although it does not bother us it does other members of the family.

It isn't strength that recieves praise, but what appears as strength. Personally, I have what can be called a wiry build. That is, I am quite strong but I don't have bulging muscles. I'f I'm not flexing my arm it looks like a stick. No one ever points to me as says, "look at how strong he is." The closest the world comes to that is when it comes ti ing everyone will see how strong you really are. That is, perhaps, the best way to be.

I come to this boards, seeking advice from people i see as enlightned. The matter at hand is a personal issue really, but i feel that it affect more than just me. And that its a rather classical issue.
Me and my littlebrother are fairly different when it comes to personal traits. Im just gonna narrow it down real simple, so that people get my question.

...Why is the pysical strengts easier recognized, rather than the mental strengths?
P.S. Im well aware of the discussion on the IQ subject. still a number as high as 150 should give a fairly good indicator of the pressence of mental strenght.
Or, having checked your profile, perhaps you ought to start by reading something like, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Chess by Patrick Wolff. Seriously. I know the correlation between IQ and chess rating isn't all that strong, but really! With that kind of brain power you oughtn't to be languishing in the sub-1200 doldrums--particularly when you are limited to five games at a time.

Ooooh: 150-160 in the intelligence ratings? You so smart, big boy! I like big brains! They make me hot! Flex your mendulla oblongata for us, would you, please?
Two questions:
1. Which of your brainiac parents gifted you with such extraordinary spelling abilities?
2. How could you have possibly received the impression that people herein are "enlightned?"
It's quite idiotic how so many native English speakers try to assert their superiority by criticizing non-native speakers spelling errors. In how many foreign languages can you write without making any spelling errors?
