I had good credit in my business, was granted loans, did not follow through and take the money available to me. So, given that, did the kids get the money? Not being contentious, we leave that to Marauder, but you leave out some facts. I only reported what I read and it did not say if the kids got the money.

So you are asking me if you can change horses and say that ...[text shortened]... of all people. Have you ever received a check, other than social security , from the US government?
I don't understand your point. You complicate the issue for no reason.

If someone claims something with no evidence to support it, it is normal to be skeptical, especially if that person is a known liar You started multiple threads on this subject under the premise that what musk says is automatically true.

But you responded 'there is no evidence'. I had written that the media has reported such-and-such. I did not say there was evidence. You did ask for evidence. You ask for evidence, if I had any, I would put it out there in a 3rd thread.

I just saw Rho Khanna, Dem congressman of CA interviewed. When elaborating on what the Dems, at the lowest popularity (in the 20s) that they have ever been, should do to get back on track.
EVERYTHING he said are simply the policies of Trump!!. Then, foot in mouth, he says the ONE thing Trump is weak on is the economy. That is for another thread, but, hey, man, he is saying that Trump is all good except for the economy. What a mess are the Democrats.

When the media reports that someone said something, that does not count as evidence that the thing that person said is real.

Right. It goes without saying, I do not get where you are coming from. You keep using the word evidence. I do not think you have evidence and I do not have evidence,,,,,,,,only media reports. That is not evidence in the true sense of the word.
I told you what the media has reported. You ask me for evidence. What!?!?

Whew. Please don't make me go over to read sonhouse

Then why do you repeatedly say "Musk discovers..."????

If you discover something, you are necessarily required to provide evidence of that discovery.

That's not what media is reporting. Maybe you just aren't reading them?

I'm playing, a lib pastime.

Of course my title says discovers. He is on a fact-finding mission. Here is an example of an article saying that someone 'discovers' something. Carter wanted to discover evidence of tombs. Musk wants to to discover evidence of waste, fraud and abuse, and maybe a bit of corruption.

Your turn. Libs believe in faaaiirr, so it is your turn.

""In 1922, British archaeologist Howard Carter, with the financial backing of Lord Carnarvon, famously discovered the tomb of the 18th Dynasty pharaoh Tutankhamun (King Tut) in the Valley of the Kings, a near-intact royal burial that became a landmark in Egyptology.""

A fact finding mission without facts? Tis interesting that you put forward the idea that only libs require facts and evidence before coming to conclusions.

If dozens of Carter's discoveries turned out to be false, would you keep believing him?

When Carter left London for his expedition, he had no facts. He surmised Egypt as a start, after a few days in The British Library. Got some shovels, and took off.
I never can get where you are going with your flippant remarks, You sholuld leave that to Sue. For instance, 'A fact finding mission without facts.' So, if I am on a mission to find Polar Bears in South Africa, the Polar Bear Mission is without facts from the outset. The fact does not, will not, exist.

Biden Waste and fraud does exist, but let me not get ahead of you.. Here is some stuff for your entertainment. Dont know if it qualifies as 'evidence'. 🤔

DOGE wrote on Feb. 4 that it canceled 12 contracts in the Government Services Administration and the Department of Education that resulted in a total savings of about $30 million. It also canceled 12 underutilized leases for savings of $3 million.

On Feb. 3, DOGE said it canceled 36 contracts, leading to savings of about $165 million across six agencies.

DOGE wrote in a post on Feb. 2 that it has canceled 22 leases in the past six days, saving $44.6 million.

On Jan. 29, DOGE said in a post on X that it had eliminated 85 contracts related to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) at more than a dozen federal agencies worth roughly $1 billion. It also canceled a $45 million scholarship program for students in Burma.

"When Carter left London for his expedition, he had no facts."

He didn't claim to have discovered it until he found it.

To refresh, Musk or his team have said that they discovered what they reported having discovered, which amount to curious SBA loans in the name of young children. I posted it on the Forum. I think, I could be wrong, but the penchant of lib posters to ‘go personal’ has resulted in our being embroiled in Zero. Weird how you could write so much , a’la Sonhouse, about my mere writing a thread highlighting their reported findings.
That is where we are, isn’t it.? You do have an evidence problem, I will not have that for you, but you will have to maybe prove their discovery/findings to be fact on your own. Or, be patient, like average Joe.

Evwryone should have an "evidence problem" at least as you describe it. Trust but verify.

Why would you blindly believe government officials when they say insane things?

That of course is a good question, but I would like for you to be specific which is rare. What is something that I believe in that I should not? I will tell you upfront that I believe in everything that musk is doing. It is so strange that we think on our side that none of you want him to find anything. Is that true? I cannot believe you would say you do not want him to do it. So that means you would have to say you want him to do it? Which leads me to ask then what is all the fuss about? Let us join hands.!!

You should not believe anything they say without evidence. If you only look at things they are doing, they're doing a lot less than they claim to be doing. Maybe they're just saying things that aren't real to make folks think they're doing stuff.

Then, you have got to tell all of your christian friends to not believe in the existence of God without evidence.
Surely you saw this coming, with such an inane premise.
