THIS is the real reason for DOGE. It had noting to do with 'saving money', that was just a dodge to cover up the REAL sinister plot to put ALL the various governmental data bases into ONE big master data base JUST LIKE in CHINA and other dictator countries, so they can have data about every American who did anything wrong, a shoplift when they were 14, or caught smoking a joint or drunk and disorderly once in their lives, so they can have a rationale to arrest someone not giving a rats ass about those kind of early incidents or whatever, the real reason they would want that info is to quell protests against the government and instill fear JUST LIKE IN CHINA.
DOGE folks don't even talk much about saving money anymore, the amount to be saved would not come anywhere CLOSE to the trillion dollars Musk touted, that was just the diversion for the REAL task, making a master data base and SCREW privacy laws.
There are privacy laws in almost ALL the western countries, not allowing ANY data base to be used like the Chinese, but our privacy laws are very week, based on the idea that any breach of privacy would be like the wrong number on your credit card, or stuff like that, and not much coverage for bad actors, that was not the thought in the US when privacy laws were written.
They didn't even THINK there could be bad actors with sinister plots behind them.
So it might even be too late to counter this master plan of Musk and Trump.
I just hope the right wing senators catch on and actually do something to help American citizens over the fact all they are really interested in is not getting kicked out in 2026 and keeping them in power no matter what happens to our democracy, putting their own political lives over ANY constitutional crisis.
