The united states has recently made a number of people very, very angry, including me. However, as anger serves no function in a successful rebuttal, I will simply state objectively that this is a very real and serious concern. The following text regards my complaints of recent days against the united states and its subtle but insincere attempts to make a mockery of our most fundamentally held beliefs. If I didn't sincerely believe that the trouble with such nit-picky gadflies is that they intend to substitute rumor and gossip for bona fide evidence, then I wouldn't be writing this letter. It is becoming increasingly obvious to many people that the united states's expositors care more about speaking, acting, and even thinking like the united states than they care about what makes sense. I'll stand by that controversial statement and even assume that most readers who bring their own real-life experience will agree with it. At a bare minimum, it's unmistakably a tragedy that the united states's goal in life is apparently to feed us ever-larger doses of its lies and crackpot assumptions. Here, I use the word "tragedy" as the philosopher Whitehead used it. Whitehead stated that "the essence of dramatic tragedy is not unhappiness. It resides in the solemnity of the remorseless working of things," which I interpret as saying that if the united states is victorious in its quest to leave us in the lurch, then its crown will be the funeral wreath of humanity.
The united states will probably throw another hissy fit if we don't let it overthrow democratic political systems. At least putting up with another the united states hissy fit is easier than convincing the united states's intimates that my current plan is to provide you with a holistic and thematic history of the united states's bloody-minded jeremiads. Yes, it will draw upon the most powerful fires of Hell to tear that plan asunder, but the baleful antipluralism in its slurs is not always explicit. Am I being unduly harsh for writing that? I think not. When the religious leaders in Jesus's time were wrong, Jesus denounced them in extremely harsh terms. So why shouldn't I, too, use extremely harsh terms to indicate that the united states upholds sin as sacred? You've never heard the united states announce that it plans to resort to underhanded tactics? Well, the united states has repeatedly enunciated such a plan, but in its typically convoluted way. If the united states thinks its lamentations represent progress, it should rethink its definition of progress. Some people think it's a bit extreme of me to reverse the devolutionary course the united states has set for us -- a bit over the top, perhaps. Well, what I ought to remind such people is that the united states is capable of only two things, namely whining and underhanded tricks.
The united states's stories about classism are particularly ridden with errors and distortions, even leaving aside the concept's initial implausibility. The "facts" the united states has often stated contain some serious distortions. Some are blatant; others are subtle. One of the most disorderly is the united states's discussion of the worst types of odious proponents of materialism there are. Is there a chance that the united states isn't lawless, covinous, and power-drunk? From what I've seen, I doubt it.
I am not in any way placing the blame on the united states for viperine franions who further political and social goals wholly or in part through activities that involve force or violence and a violation of criminal law. That notwithstanding, the united states is still culpable for plotting to lead to the destruction of the human race. The united states's harangues are colored and flavored to appeal to obtuse spongers. It is tempting to look for simple solutions to that problem, but there are no simple solutions.
Everywhere it's gone, the united states has tried to organize a whispering campaign against me. It can happen here, too. The united states's true goal is to create an atmosphere of mistrust, in which speculations and rumors gain the appearance of viability and compete openly with more carefully considered theories. All the statements that its adulators make to justify or downplay that goal are only apologetics; they do nothing to build bridges where in the past all that existed were moats and drawbridges. I myself have not forgotten that heinous mattoids ought to be worshipping at a higher altar than the bottom line of a balance sheet. I have not forgotten that I am one of the united states's victims. And I cannot forget that I normally prefer to listen than to speak. I would, however, like to remind the united states that an organization that wants to get ahead should try to understand the long-range consequences of its actions. The united states has never had that faculty. It always does what it wants to do at the moment and figures it'll be able to lie itself out of any problems that arise.
The united states is untrustworthy, brassbound, mischievous, lubricious, rebarbative, and obnoxious. Need I go on? To use some computer terminology, the united states's retinue has an "installed base" of hundreds of simple-minded, self-indulgent warmongers. The implication is that hooliganism doesn't work. So why does the united states cling to it? Please do not stop reading here, presuming that the answer is apparent and that no further knowledge is needed. Such is doubtlessly not the case. In fact, I'd bet no one ever told you that I wish that one of the innumerable busybodies who are forever making "statistical studies" about nonsense would instead make a statistical study that means something. For example, I'd like to see a statistical study of the united states's capacity to learn the obvious. Also worthwhile would be a statistical study of how many gloomy goof-offs realize that we can divide the united states's positions into three categories: prolix, debauched, and prudish. If the people generally are relying on false information sown by deplorable sybarites, then correcting that situation becomes a priority for the defense of our nation. If you can make any sense out the united states's materialistic, irrational jibes, then you must have gotten higher marks in school than I did. The united states has it all wrong; I'm not a harebrained person. I'd like nothing more than to extend my hand in friendship to the united states's myrmidons and convey my hope that in the days to come we can work together to investigate the united states's pudibund, gruesome principles, ideals, and objectives. Unfortunately, knowing them, they'd rather outrage the very sensibilities of those who value freedom and fairness because that's what the united states wants.
Let me give you an important hint: When trying to understand what the united states is up to, look at what it is doing and what it has done. Don't let yourself be distracted by the patter and the hand-waving; keep your eye on the shell that has the pea under it. And focus your mind on the fact that I recently informed the united states that its yes-men promote group-think attitudes over individual insights. The united states said it'd "look further into the matter." Well, not too much further; after all, it's easy to tell if it's lying. If its lips are moving, it's lying. I would like to register my strong objection to the united states's imprecations. As an interesting experiment, try to point this out to it. (You might want to don safety equipment first.) I think you'll find that we can never return to the past. And if we are ever to move forward to the future, we have to build a new understanding that can transport us to tomorrow.
Here's an eye-opener for you: I'm not writing this letter for your entertainment. I'm not even writing it for your education. I'm writing it for our very survival. I am appalled by the vast generalizations in the united states's claim that it has achieved sainthood. So please permit me to appropriate and paraphrase something I once heard: "The only way I can possibly forgive it is if it tells the truth and makes restitution." Once, just once, I'd like to see the united states's vicegerents make this world a kinder, gentler place. But until they do that (if they ever do that), we must realize that unholy, uncompanionable disorganized-types often take earthworms or similar small animals and impale them on a pin to enjoy watching them twist and writhe as they slowly die. Similarly, the united states enjoys watching respectable people twist and writhe whenever it threatens to promote a culture of dependency and failure. Whenever the united states is blamed for conspiring to create a regime of tendentious, impetuous mercantalism, it blames its slaves. Doing so reinforces their passivity and obedience and increases their guilt, shame, terror, and conformity, thereby making them far more willing to help the united states increase society's cycle of hostility and violence.
If the united states believes that 75 million years ago, a galactic tyrant named Xenu solved the overpopulation problem of his 76-planet federation by transporting the excess people to Earth, chaining them to volcanoes, and dropping H-bombs on them, then it's obvious why it thinks that it should prime the pump of prætorianism because "it's the right thing to do". All in all, it's possible that a necessary first step towards recovery is to look at the united states with new eyes, unclouded by a lifetime of false information and deception propagated by worthless dingbats. However, I cannot speculate about that possibility here because I need to devote more space to a description of how disaffected kooks serve as the priests in the united states's cult of lethargic negativism. These "priests" spend their days basking in the united states's reflected glory, pausing only when the united states...

To begin at the beginning, I've repeatedly pointed out to him that his apothegms are devoid of logic and filled to the brim with hate and misinformation. That apparently didn't register with him, though. Oh, well; I guess Ivangrice once tried convincing me that cannibalism, wife-swapping, and the murder of infants and the elderly are acceptable behavior. Does he think I was born yesterday? I mean, it seems pretty obvious that this is explicitly or implicitly expressed or presupposed in most of the material I plan to present. That said, let me continue. Whenever there's an argument about Ivangrice's devotion to principles and to freedom, all one has to do is point out that this is a fundamental and obvious truth that Ivangrice completely ignores. That should settle the argument pretty quickly. He takes things out of context, twists them around, and then neglects to provide decent referencing so the reader can check up on him. Ivangrice also ignores all of the evidence that doesn't support (or in many cases directly contradicts) his position. His threats have merged with classism in several interesting ways. Both spring from the same kind of reality-denying mentality. Both tear down all theoretical frameworks for addressing the issue. And both waffle on all the issues. Let me end this letter by pointing out that the battle to warn the public against those catty, callous braggarts whose positive accomplishments are always practically nil, but whose conceit can scarcely be excelled, is now joined on many fronts. We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter; and, we will not fail.
Really? In that case get an editor...

Need she go on? I vote, uh, no. Emphatically, flat out, decidedly, unequivocally, really-truly-wooly, no.
And those "busybodies" making nonsense appear to find their doppleganger in her, too!
Say, I've an idea (small one, as I am a bear of little brain). What say we have a contest to see who can post the most esoteric and/or obtuse rant? Omniflashdancer's post is the current high (?) mark.

Originally posted by flyUnityI believe this is a point everyone should read twice and understand because it is so true. Once you spend some time in various countries around the world you realise that sterotypes are rarely true....... the stupid / arrogant American stereotype??? Well the ones I have met whilst travelling have been a pleasure to socialize with and are very intelligent. Definitely take the media with a pince of salt......... if you dont you would currently believe that all Australians are attempting to smuggle drugs from asia (Miss Corby, Bali 9, Some model, and Nguyen) as thats all that has been in the media in recent months (apart from the aussies loosing at every sport at the moment, which is true๐๐๐๐)

When it comes down to it, things aren't that different from country to country and person to person. Sometimes you just need to open you eyes to see it, and spending time in these countries helps you to see that........ whereas judging from afar with limited facts will always remain a blinkered biased and inaccurate opinion.
