Generally people, or at least I, want the goverment to spend my money on many hundreds of things.

But no body would set down and fill out that many check boxes.
And if it anyway comes down to filling out some group-checkboxes then I don't see the difference to woting for a party with a political program that detailes what they want to spend the money on.
