Myanmar security forces kill seven protesters, Chinese-owned factory set ablaze

(Reuters) - Myanmar troops fired at anti-coup protesters on Wednesday, killing at least seven people and wounding several, media said, as a Chinese-owned factory was set on fire in the commercial capital Yangon and activists burned the Chinese flag.

Posters sometimes wonder why refugees fleeing Myanmar never seek refuge in neighboring China,

But the actions of the Myanmar people tell us, they have bitter feelings for the Chinese
due to their treatment of Muslim, dark-skinned Chinese nationals, the Uyghurs.

Despite the refugees being on foot and Germany being 5,000 miles away,
some posters are silly enough to believe that the Myanmar refugees are not being
taken in by the West because of their own racism. Surely, this is a very weak deflection
in a failed attempt at hiding the obvious truth.

Racists make the biggest liars.

“ As I said, the virulent racist hate of Chinese here is like Nazi hate of the Jews.”
You should receive a ban for that line alone. Your persistent anti semitism should be addressed.
The Chinese fare much better from the other racists here than white people and westerners have ever fared from your psychotic bile.

That's not the reason the article gives. 32 Chinese-owned factories have been burned, but the reason given by the article is due to perceiving China as being supportive of the military government.

The article doesn't mention Uyghurs.

I think the posters here are more concerned with trolling you than attacking China. They seem to enjoy how bringing up news that casts China in negative light upsets you.

If for some reason you left RHP, threads about China would drop dramatically.

My post was specifically regarding the RHP posters. I completely agree that anti-Asian racism and violence is a pressing and growing problem.

Here's what I said:

What I was referring to, Vivify, was the reason why the Myanmar refugees never
went to China, not why they lit the Chinese-owned factories on fire.

It's a "context" thing and perhaps I should have made it more clear.
