@sh76 saidEurope is in the same boat but we know he hates us, but even if he didn’t make his feelings clear you couldn’t trust him from one bowel movement to the next.
That's a good point. Trump is a big supporter of Israel, but he definitely thinks Netanyahu screwed him by recognizing Biden as President. Trump could be the most pro-Israel president ever or the most anti-Israel president ever based solely on which way strokes his massive ego best.
I wouldn't vote for him anyway, but that's another reason I'm concerned.
Imagine being so narcissistic that you get angry about that, does he expect an Israeli President or PM to not recognise the POTUS elect

@rajk999 saidThe "Jewish lobby" doesn't significantly influence U.S. policy over Israel; the Christian right does.
Looks like you dont understand the power of the Jewish lobby in the US, neither how critical an ally in the midEast is to the US.
Israel is not a "critical" Mideast ally, it's the opposite. Allyship to Israel has brought far more trouble than good, such as the ire of the entire Arab world, as well as the E.U. and the U.N.
@vivify saidLets say they both play a part, and obviously the US Govt disagrees with your statement that Israel is not an ally, but the opposite.

@rajk999 saidStop being stupid.

You said Israel is a "critical" ally. That's clearly false given the U.S. loses far more than it gains, both financially and reputation-wise across the globe.
The U.S. is a "critical" ally to Israel, not the other way around.
@vivify saidActually you are being stupid. We both have opinions.

Mine is that Israel is a critical ally of the US in the middle east. Proof of that is that the US continues to give $3B US every year plus other kinds of support probably worth more.
Yours is that Israel is the opposite of an ally.
Clearly my opinion is closer to the truth judging from what the US is prepared to do for Israel.
You are thinking with your BLM and WOKE cap. Take of that stupid cap and try to think clearly.

Wrong. I never said that. This is where you're being dumb.
You said "critical" ally. By using the word "critical" you're implying Israel is too important either militarily, politically or financially lose as an ally. That couldn't be further from the truth. The U.S. loses far more than it gains from this relationship. Israel is the one who critically needs the U.S.
"Proof of that is that the US continues to give $3B US every year plus other kinds of support"
Simple question: what does the U.S. get from Israel then? I'm sure you can easily name what benefits the U.S. gets since you claim they're "critical" to us.
@vivify saidSo something is wrong with your country then? Wasting $3 B/yr just like that for no reason? Ask them.

@vivify saidI think you can do your own research. The US spends about $120B US every year on foreign aid. Only $3B or which goes to Israel. I have a feeling you are obsessed with this because you think the US govt should pay all black Americans reparations instead of wasting money on Israel, who you think do nothing for Americans.
Looks like you're backing down from your "critical" ally claim.
I have to say, thank God that people like you [and Mr HappyChappy aka 'Queers for Palestine], do not have the intellect to make it to positions of authority where you can made critical decisions for your country.
@rajk999 saidIn other words you're too scared to admit you're wrong. Your "critical" ally claim was pulled out of your ass and you want to distract from that.

From what I see, your on your own with your defence of Genocide.
Ps, don't reference me again.
Hypocrite.
@vivify saidI asked that question in another thread when a right winger claimed that Israel is the USs closest and most important ally. Israel has never shed a drop of blood for anyone but Israel. It was not Israel that came to the defence of the US after 9/11 it was NATO that organisation that trump will dump as a useless drag on the US military

@happy-chappy saidMaybe a good starting point prior to posting would be to check the meaning of 'genocide'. You seem to just be tagging along with all the ignorant posts on social media about genocide in Gaza.
