"Most people" will sit home for $12,000 a year?
I seriously doubt it.
Why not?
Who would work if UBI provides enough to live on?
Material possessions are over-rated.
@no1marauder saidBernie claimed victory on Facebook
Bernie's been maintaining a 4-5K lead over Buttigieg most of the night; if it winds up like that both can claim a victory of sorts. https://results.decisiondeskhq.com/2020/primary/new_hampshire/president
And Klobuchar getting 20% and finishing a solid third is a really good result for her as well.
@athousandyoung saidThe networks have called it for Bernie, too, though ABC has him and Buttigieg both getting 9 delegates with Klobuchar netting 6.

@earl-of-trumps saidThe delegates are awarded proportionally after the candidates get to 15%; the popular vote between Bernie and Buttigieg was too small to warrant a difference in delegates in a 24 count.
What a shock! The delegate count was still biased against Bernie but at least they did not blow him out of the water like they did in 2016.
Y'all remember NH '16? Bernie 60%, Hilary 38%, and SUPERdelegates gave the delegate total of NH to Hilary. How cool was that?!
There was no "bias"; if the results were reversed with Buttigieg getting 25.7% and Bernie getting 24.4% the delegate count would have been the same.
@no1marauder saidbut it was enough in iowa...gotcha!
