I was encouraged by A.G. Garland's comments stating:

“No person is above the law in this country,” Garland said. “I can’t say it any more clearly than that. There is nothing in the principles of prosecution and any other factors which prevent us from investigating anyone – anyone – who is criminally responsible for an attempt to undo a democratic election.”

I hope he backs up what he says.

"Inciting to riot" is a felony in all 50 states, and so is insurrection. In addition, the 14th Amendment provides for disallowing the right to run for office to any government official who participates in or who foments an insurrection. If there's one thing the Jan. 6 Commission can do for America, it is to prove how deep Trump was into the insurrection and how he drove it forward, knowing full well what he was doing.

At this point, I don't care if he goes to prison (as he should for insurrection), as long as he is barred from holding ANY elected office ever again. That is the payoff for the Commission for me.

Fourteenth Amendment Citizenship, Equal Protection, and Other Rights of Citizens

Section 3 Disqualification from Holding Office

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

What specifically did Trump do or say that amounts to criminal conduct?

Nothing that would hold up in court.

Inciting riot, insurrection, election tampering, witness tampering.....

If the Capitol police was unprepared and didn't call for reinforcements why is that Trump's fault? Does Trump control the Capitol Police? Did he make them open the barricades to let his supporters through so they could walk right up to the Capitol building?

That's not specific.

What specifically did Trump do or say in the 187 minutes that incited a riot etc?

They smashed the barriers down and then threw them at the police then they smashed their way in to the capitol bldg and “fought like hell” just as trump instructed them to do at the rally.
So if banks cannot stop bank robbers because they have insufficient armed guards in the bank or if a woman gets raped because she couldn’t outrun the rapist then it’s their fault and no real crime has been committed 🙄
Stop being stupid
Anyway there is so much more to the insurrection conspiracy headed by trump and most of it done in front of witnesses or on tape.

the law requires a hearing where both sides get to speak.

This hearing only one side gets to speak and you fools play it as legitimate.
