I watch with curiosity how many people from Europe, Australia, and
other lands actually have an interest in American elections. And it
all befuddles me. Why the interest? Anyway, this mania seems to
have taken root in India and Nigeria as well.

Scorned by Trump, many Nigerians love him all the same

LAGOS (Reuters) - Hundreds of men and women marched, clad in T-shirts supporting U.S. President Donald Trump or pink fabric dresses bearing the image of Jesus, as they waved American flags, Republican presidential campaign signs, and even a few Nigerian flags.

Open that link and look at the pic. Totally stunning (to me).

I remain mystified. Totally.

Seriously earl, perhaps if you had ever been on the sharp end of US foreign policy ( or lack of it ) you might show a bit more interest yourself.

Seriously I haven't

But what the hell does american foreign policy ever have to do with Nigeria? India?
Further more, the Nigerians here are supporting an incumbent. So policy - it is not.

Here's the link. Sorry about the faux pas

Well it could still be foreign policy and they like the incumbents policies. Or maybe it’s just a morbid curiosity.
