To the extent public figures get the vaccine openly and freely discuss the procedure and answer any questions, it will conceivably encourage more to get the vaccine.

You might expect ole AvJoe would be a bit incensed that she is even in DC. And get this, she is all for Socialism for this country. Some people on this thread think just like her, all for collectivism and all its wonderful benefits.
I don't like her politics nor do I like her. She will visit some bad stuff on this country. Yes, some of you are behind her, I am not. Wouldn't it be boring if we agree that she is just so wonderful.

That is the biggest fear within conservatism. Fear of change.
Maybe your country could use some change.
And maybe democracy can play a role in deciding what that change will.
If democracy decides a move towards Socialism, then that's what it is unless you decide to discard democracy.
Then you lose what you proclaim to the world what your country stands for.
Change is around us constantly.
If you don't want your country to change with the times, then vote your conscience.
But don't discard the votes of those that embrace the future instead of clinging to the past.
To those of you who cling to the "Little House on the Prairie" model that you want for America, I say this.
Your numbers are dwindling. Whether you like it or not.
