My government does it's best to minimize the North Korean threat, probably to keep the stock market from dropping like a rock after the plunge protection team put so much into propping it up.

The fact is that the DPRK is capable of sending a satellite into orbit.

Since the DPRK can put something into orbit, I would not rule out that it can drop something to the mainland USA from that orbit. The USA claims the DPRK cannot build a nuclear warhead small enough to fit on a rocket. Maybe this is true, maybe not. All we know is what my government claims and I don't have a lot of faith in that claim.

If I was Kim Jong-Un and I could launch a nuclear weapon into orbit, I would detonate it above the USA mainland to prove I could do it. This could be used to create a massive magnetic pulse that could cause some serious disruption and cost a lot of money for the USA.

According to an article in the BBC website, Pyongyang has told British Diplomats that they cannot guarantee their safety from the 10th of April. The North Koreans want external investment on their own terms, which they're unlikely to get. They are hoping to generate international talks and start to normalize their external relations - which they can do if they are generating enough internal growth to keep people happy. Essentially the same game as Iran is playing. I can't see the West going for this without either nuclear disarmament or some level of regime change, as they don't want to encourage nuclear brinkmanship as a mechanism for generating external investment. So the world ends next Wednesday.

I saw on the news today some video of North Koreans using Obamas image and other Americans for target practice until nothing was left of it. At the same time they were yelling "Warmongers!!" Damn Teabaggers.

Don't they know Obama is not an American? Geesh!! 😛

Also, DPRK has a nuke and Iran doesn't. So guess who the American and British Imperialists are most likely to pick on?

Maybe they are just very good christians and they know Obama is the antichrist? It must be true, I read it on the internet, same guy who was saying socialising health care is stalinism.

Because the minimum wage in North Korea is zero and they're happy to get that?

Due to living expenses, I'd guess that $50 in NK will get you a lot farther than $50 in South Korea.

In any case, I find it difficult to believe that people can't understand that minimum wage applies only to that country's population, not everywhere a company might employ people.
