No - I don't do that to make war on the people across town either. But I also don't have the capacity to gather revenue or the responsibility to ensure that it is well spent that a government does. It is a really poor argument to compare personal finances with the government (or a large business [bought an airliner recently?].) You cannot reduce the com in someone's place. Apparently you can't even imagine the responsibilities of government.
As far as revenue being well spent by our government, are you on crack?
As far as compassion goes, why can't we have the same medical and retirement benefits those in Congress have?
Anyone who thinks the Government spends OUR money well, has to be a nut case?

Yes, you should have access to the same plans congress does. Did you let your Representative and Senators know this was how you felt? I did.

In any case, I'm done with this thread. I'm tired of poking the bear with a stick. You'll never appreciate my points (or any other liberal) because you lack the capability to feel compassion. I can imagine what is must feel like to be dead inside and it doesn't seem pleasant. Maybe that is why whenever the discussion is going against one of you, you lash out with insults. I truly feel sorry for you.
