Looking very likely.
It'll be a scramble for the middle and McCain will lose because right-wing republicans won't bother to vote.
Thats my opinion ...

The age and income range of these people is all over the board too. I agree with you; unless he makes some major goofs, I don't see Obama losing to McCain in the general election.

I just realized; if I voted like some of the kids I work with say they'd vote, I should vote for McCain because he has an Irish name. At least some of them want to vote for Obama because he's Black and so are they.
But then one likes Huckabee because he's a "priest". That noble young man is now in 2nd grade.

I'm not sure which is worse for America, either of the two Socialist candidates, or the socialism-lite candidate with the crazy temper and the problem with adultery:

I really do hope times have changed down there but...time will tell, because, really there isn't much difference ideologically speaking between the two of them.
A minister
A black man
A woman
A mormon
A vietnam vet who spent 5 years in a cage
etc.
This is what America is, no? Where else in the world will you find such a rainbow of candidates from all sides of the political and social spectra?
What do we get in Canada? Middle of the road, plain-as-oatmeal, lame duck white men all. Nobody here cares. Right now, Americans are engaged and excited about this election and I am too. I wish Canadian politics would take a lesson from the Americans this time around and get people involved.

Besides, how far can his 'Rodney king', can't we all campaign get against serious scrutiny ? So far he has had a free ride because right now, its all focused on beating up the Clintos'. The conservatives, Moveon.org, environmental whackos are all piling on.
And if it comes down to a brokered convention for the Dems, both are going to get bloodied in the open warfare that we can hope happens.

"...you shouldn't reside in America because those values are alien to the this country and to the spirit of free men everywhere."
That's the talk of a proper prick.

are driver licenses for illegal aliens, and ending the war soon. Beyond
that I'm not sure what he stands for, he is a great speaker, but he
does not reveal much in his speeches about exactly what he will do
and how, we get a very basic high level warm and fuzzy about what he
is for without getting specific. Compare that to HillBilly ranting about
this that and the other thing it is a nice change of pace I have to
admit.
