It looks like good old Uncle Sam has got his knickers in a bit of a twist...again...

Iraq will investigate allegations that US marines carried out a massacre of civilians in Haditha in November, the country's prime minister has said.
Nouri Maliki told Reuters news agency there was "a limit to the acceptable excuses" for civilian casualties.
The Pentagon is close to ending its own inquiries into the deaths, initially attributed to a clash with militants.
Observers say the incident could deal a more serious blow to US standing than the Abu Ghraib scandal.
Not that I know how anything could be more scandalous than the Abu Ghraib affair....well, besides My Lai, No Gun Ri or Guatanamo bay...
But, like a Dan Brown book, the US has managed to pull another cliff-hanger out of the hat.
How do they do it?
I'm sure they must have professional script writers or something thinking this up.
"Yeah, Mr. Scorsese, we want to wag this dog's tail like it's never been wagged before. Can you help us?"
"That's quite a mission, Mr. President. But let me see...invade 3rd world country, abuse the population, lock up people without trial...yeah...I think I'll manage something."
"But I wanna look smart eh, Mr. Scorsese..."
"I don't do sci-fi Mr. President..."

I've decided not to say anything.
Personally I would have applauded the writer for his witty use of the film industry in what can only be called a grotesque blunder of moviesque size (and have a go at Bush's IQ at the same time).
But then again, I wrote it, so I would. Wouldn't I?

I was going to simply post two of the < arrows, which, of course, in maths denotes 'much, much smaller'. It wouldn't post them though for some reason.
