Good, then he can still have time to get out and continue his search for the real killers of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Indeed...his chin wobbled when he spoke to the court, then got his sentence went outside the court room and was grinning to his entourage....the mans a maggot and should be tortured with plyers and a blow torch daily.

I'd rather see him hung by his sac while being eaten by Caligula's dogs.

He has to do at least 9 years, I believe, then he is eligible for parole; however, he could theoretically be locked up for a total of 33 years.

5 years for 1994 double murder would be pretty low penalty!

He was found innocent and should be thought of as such. I don't see how he can have a had an unbiased trail considering the hype which went along with the first case.

I believe his lawyers are thinking along the same lines. I think his sentence will be reduced after an appeal.

Then that will be a second miscarriage of justice, wouldn't it. I am baffled by the logic. "He got away with murder, so he can't get a fair trial and should get away with this". Where does it end?

Which probably means he will be out in 3 years. 😛

Unless an appeal changes things, no. He must do a minimum of 9 years, no ifs ands or buts.

If he weren't a vilified celebrity he wouldn't have gotten near that length of sentence. I'm surprised at those (most of you) who feel that yet another injustice somehow qualifies or equalizes a prior one.

The sentence was totally unfair. Murderers get less.

Wrong. Even Simpson's lawyers said the sentence was appropriate and more lenient than they expected.

Totally unfair, eh? Do you even know what he was found guilty of?

He was found guilty in the civil court and he has never paid for the damages.

OJ must be feeling like the STOOPIDEST MAN ON EARTH right about now. His attempt to be all gangsta like something out of a hippity-hop video went terribly wrong.
