I just hope it blows up in Trump's case before the impeachment hearings are done.
I'm firmly convinced Trump's taxes becoming public knowledge will be far more damning to him than anything we've seen in the last 2 1/2 years. We'll find out he is not the genius businessman he claims to be and get a far better idea who he owes money to. I predict Mother Russia will come up more than once in those tax returns. Why else would he hire a small army of lawyers to keep them hidden?

@sonhouse saidIt probably does't matter. If Roberts or another of the conservative 5 joins with Sotomayor, Breyer and Kagan, that's a 4-4 tie even without RBG, which means the lower court's ruling stands.

If the conservative 5 all vote with Trump, then RBG's vote is insufficient.
wow. Y'all think Trump's tax returns will spell his doom? Dream on. He fights this out of principle. If you are for equal justice under the law and personal freedoms you will support his fight. Even if he loses, the returns will reveal nothing you are wishing it to reveal. He's a winner just for making the fight, and he will be a bigger winner once they are revealed.
